The Machine Maintenance Management System was developed for Mukherjee Associates Infra to bring structure and visibility to their fleet maintenance operations. Previously relying on manual logs and paper records, the system centralizes all maintenance data in a searchable digital platform.
The system tracks both reactive (breakdown) and preventive maintenance events, records parts and labor costs, and sends automated alerts for upcoming scheduled services — helping prevent costly unplanned downtime across construction sites.
Built on PHP/MySQL with a scheduled task cron system to trigger maintenance reminders. The filtering engine supports complex multi-parameter queries (date range, machine type, cost range, maintenance type) with indexed database columns for performance. Cost aggregation queries generate real-time machine-wise expenditure summaries.
